Lucky for us, Jon is an extremely prolific guy - and if you've been anxious to hear some new musical offerings from him, he's co-written a song on solo artist Brooke Frasher's new album. AntiMusic reports: Brooke Fraser will release her third album, Flags, on October 12 on Wood and Bone Records. The new record was recorded in Los Angeles at EastWest Studios and was produced by the artist. A full U.S. tour has been finalized for November and December, where she'll perform in legendary venues such as The Parish in Austin, Highline Ballroom in NYC and the El Rey in Los Angeles.
Flags is a dreamy, alternative-pop collection that showcases her agile soprano, lilting melodies, and knack for telling her stories through the lives of vibrant characters on songs like "Betty," (co-written with Switchfoot's Jon Foreman and Ben West of Detroit indie duo The Real Efforts of Real People), "Crows and Locusts," "Jack Kerouac," and "Ice on Her Lashes." ^ Nice! Can't wait to hear the tune. We'll keep you posted on the release and previews.

Speaking of radio, here's a few videos from a recent Jon/Drew radio stop at Boch Studio 929 in Boston!
The guys played Soulfest, as while we've yet to come across a setlist/videos, we do have a pretty cool shot for you to check out - I believe Jon played a solo show before Switchfoot's set and this seems to be a photo from that performance!: Photo credit: Renee Christine
How are Switchfoot's singles performing on the charts? We're Awakening has the scoop for us: This week, "The Sound" holds serve at No. 16 on Alternative, despite a strong challenge by Anberlin's new single, "Impossible."
"The Sound" fell on Christian Rock from 2-3.
"Your Love Is a Song" fell 12-13 on Christian CHR, but experienced a HUGE jump from 32 all the way to 23 on the national Christian Songs chart, with a giant 338+ spin increase.
Look for "The Sound" to revive on Alternative this coming week with KROQ spinning the track, and several other stations sure to follow. Keep requesting at your local rock stations!
The folks over at DC101 e-mailed us to let us know they've uploaded photos of Jon and Drew's acoustic set at the station. Take a look right HERE and scrolling down to the RECENTLY UPDATED PHOTOS section.
I hope you guys are in a photo mood because we've got a number of shots to share with you!

The lyrics (If you have any corrections, feel free to make them in a comment below!): Been fighting things that I can't see, yeah Like voices coming from the inside of me, yeah Like doing things I find hard to believe in Am I ghost or am I dreaming?
I've been awake for an hour or so Checking for a pulse but I just don't know Am I man if I feel like ghost? The stranger in the mirror is wearing my clothes
No I'm not alright I know that I'm not right The steering wheel don't mean you can drive A warm body doesn't mean I'm alive
No I'm not alright I know that I'm not right Feel like I travel but I never arrive I want to thrive, not just survive
I come alive when I hear you singing But lately I haven't been hearing a thing, yeah I get the feeling that I'm between A machine and a man who only looks like me
I try and hide it, not let it show But deep down inside me I just don't know Am I man if I feel like a hoax? The stranger in the mirror is wearing my clothes
No I'm not alright I know that I'm not right The steering wheel don't mean you can drive A warm body doesn't mean I'm alive
No I'm not alright I know that I'm not right Feel like I travel but I never arrive I want to thrive, not just survive
I'm always close and never enough I get so down, but I won't give up I get so down, but I won't give up get so down, but I won't give up
Been fighting things that I can't see, yeah Like voices coming from the inside of me, yeah Like doing things I find hard to believe in Am I myself or am I dreaming?
Thrive, thrive, thrive
No I'm not alright I know that I'm not right The steering wheel don't mean you can drive A warm body doesn't mean I'm alive
No I'm not alright I know that I'm not right Feel like I travel but I never arrive I want to thrive, not just survive
Here's the setlist from the Switchfoot show and Jon's aftershow, both courtesy of Katherine: Dare You to Move - When they made their entrance, Jon greeted the audience, leaped into the crowd and started singing this song Needle and Haystack Life Mess of Me The Sound Won't Back Down (Tom Petty) This is Your Life Free Your Love is a Song Meant to Live
Aftershow: Against the Voices Thrive - he said he never played it before and hoped he didn't screw it up :) I thought it sounded FANTASTIC Just Rob Me Resurrect Me Only Hope - in the beginning someone said he couldn't hear him playing guitar and Jon said he would get the sound guy on that. Vice Verses - he gave us the option of three choices: A was She Said, B was Vice Verses and C was Come Home.. it was between B&C and obviously B won. Learning to Breathe - I absolutely loved that he did this song!! There was an actual debate on which old song to do either Let That Be Enough or this.. we let him choose and he chose this! It was nice Let Your Love Be Strong ^ What a stellar set! Any more videos from the show? If so, e-mail them to us at news@landofbrokenhearts.org.
Jon and Drew also stopped by DC101 to play a set. Here's the setlist, courtesy of Bobby: Lucky Man (The Verve) Mess Of Me The Sound
Jana wrote in to let us know there is a new poster up in Switchfoot's store - which solves the Ghost Town mystery! GHOST TOWN POSTER Look both ways before crossing the street... ^ That's an ominous warning... purchase the poster for $7.99 HERE. (Thanks Jana!)
Here's another video from the PTS lounge - a stellar performance of Your Love Is A Song!:
The guys were recently in Boston for MixFest and here's a few photos from that performance:
Don't forget to purchase the Max Vangeli/AN21 Always Remix! The remix was released yesterday and is only available right HERE. Speaking of, a few DJs debuted the remix a few months ago and shared the video on YouTube... and a Switchfoot fan caught this amusing comment: Oh Drew. You WOULD.
