This week's Switchfoot memory was sent in by Amy, who had a fun story to tell us: These are my pictures with them at the Meet and Greet in Columbus, OH on June, 19th 2010. They were THE nicest, most awesome guys I have ever met! It was such a privilege. Well we were just walking around Columbus before the show and we decided to go to Starbucks. While we were waiting in line, Jerome walks in and gets behind us, so I am like freaking out. So I introduced myself, and he was like, "Hey, are you guys going to be at the sound check and meet and greet?" And we were like "yeah!" So we just talked to him for a while, and then when we were walking we said hi to Drew and Chad, who were sitting outside of Starbucks drinking coffee. Later on that evening we went into the soundcheck and meet and greet, and we talked to Tim from the stage for a minute. Then at the meet and greet, when we saw Jerome, he remembered my name, and showed us a picture of his son. I asked Jon about the new fiction family album, and he said it was going to be a lot different from the first album, much more organic. During Dare You To Move, Jerome came up to the front of the stage, and saw me, and said, "Amy!" and he threw his pick to me. But it fell in front of the gate, and somebody else got it first. haha. So it was awonderful day!!! ;) - Amy Thanks for sharing, Amy!
VIDEOVIDEOVIDEO! As posted earlier this morning, we FINALLY got our hands on a video of Jon playing Radiohead's High and Dry...please do check it out, some of us here at LOBH are HUGE Radiohead fans so it was a big treat for us to see! Jon really does the song so much justice. Incredible, just incredible.
An mp3 will be up soon for all of you to download and share!
This week's graphic was sent in by Emily, using lyrics from All of God's Children...check it out: Thanks Emily!
