Wow! That’s an interesting setlist from Fiction Family. I would have guessed that they would have not left out:

    When She’s Near
    War in My Blood
Fools’ Gold (feels like it would transfer well live)
Guilt (also feels like it was written with a live show in mind)
    We Ride

But it’s still a great setlist… you really can’t go wrong with Fiction Family. Was that the correct order of both setlists? Because even the order seemed interesting to me.

They might have done the rest of those if there weren’t so many other bands playing in one night, I suppose…

Not sure if this got posted yet, but at the Denver Heavy and Light stop, Fiction Family had the same basic setlist as those listed above, but Jon started off by playing a beautiful stripped down version of “Love Is the Movement.” Incredibly powerful, especially in that setting.

Can I just say, I’ve had “Give Me Back My Girl” on repeat for the past couple days. So good.

WHY WASN’T I TOLD NOW, NOW WAS TOURING WITH THEM, they are incredible! I saw them last year with The Naked and Famous who are also incredible. For those of you who don’t know The singer for Now, Now sings on the new Paper Route record.

This is my first time to post anything, even though I have been following Land of Broken Hearts for quite some time now. Thank you Jeanna for all of your hard work! I check the site every day—sometimes more than once! I love reading all of the updates and news! Of course, I am older than probably most of the people on here! I am the mother of six daughters, and it was my oldest that “introduced” me to Switchfoot several years ago—and I’ve been hooked ever since!

I was at the Fiction Family show in Houston on Monday, and it was incredible!! (I believe the dates are reversed in the post. They were in Houston on 2/4, and Dallas on 2/5, I think. Not that it really matters!) To answer JonnyL, that set list is in the correct order. I have always wanted to go to a Jon solo show, so this is the closest yet that I’ve been to one! All of the songs were just beautiful, but I always love Resurrect Me and Your Love is Strong! Jon was great as always–interacting with the crowd, and putting so much of himself in his songs. I wish I could have driven to Dallas the next night to see the show again!

Well, at least now I can look forward to seeing Switchfoot in May at the KSBJ Anniversary Concert! I got my tickets last week! It’s been over a year since I’ve seen them. That’s way too long!

You aren’t the only older person on here. My teens like Switchfoot, but I am the big fan in the family!

Thanks, Deb! It’s that way in my house too. I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one!

      Thanks for the answer, Gloria!

Just fyi, the Houston show was on 2/4 and the Dallas show was on 2/5.

Also, in Houston when he played Dare You To Move, I don’t know if there were actually tech issues, but he did say he wanted to play unplugged because it was such a great, intimate setting/crowd. It was one of my favorite parts of the evening :)
Man, this was seriously one of the most amazing nights of music I’ve ever been to. I wish I could go to all the shows of the tour haha.

Jeanna, I know this is totally off topic, but do you know when the Bro-Am dates will be announced? My daughter was invited on a camping trip in July and we are planning a family vacation in San Diego around the Bro-Am date so she is not able to give an answer until we find out.

The Houston show setlist is in order. As far as tech issues, I don’t know what went on, but Ethan the stagehand had to switch out the cord on Jon’s mic before it would pick him up.

Thanks for posting the video of “All of God’s Children.” I was hoping someone had recorded that!
